Own your assessment

Your students should practice every NREMT® format — long before exam day.

Since 2024, the NREMT grades drag-and-drop, build-list, and clinical-judgment questions — not just multiple choice. With Foresight you build quizzes, chapter exams, and finals in those exact formats, so your class practices the real thing all the way through the program.

Built by a Critical Care Paramedic and NAEMSE instructor — every format mirrors the ones students face on the NREMT.

See a question come together

Describe a question and Foresight builds the whole TEI item — the prompt, the options, the answer key, and the rationale — ready to drop into your exam. No separate question bank, no clunky form builder.

The problem

The exam changed.
Assessment tools didn't.

“Students spent 6 to 18 months practicing one format, then sat for an exam with formats they had literally never seen.”

Since July 2024, every NREMT certification exam includes scored Technology Enhanced Items — drag-and-drop sequencing, multi-phase clinical judgment scenarios, checkbox grids, build-a-list prioritization. These interactive formats go far beyond multiple choice.

Yet most programs still practice and test largely in standard multiple choice, and no existing tool brings full-format TEI practice, item generation, and cohort analytics together. The first complete post-TEI accreditation review cycle finishes in 2026, and programs that can't maintain a 70% pass rate risk losing CAAHEP accreditation.

What students practice

A 54-year-old male presents with chest pain radiating to the left arm. Which is the most appropriate initial intervention?

A. Administer nitroglycerin
B. Obtain a 12-lead ECG
C. Start an IV
D. Administer morphine

Standard multiple choice — the only format in classroom tools

What the NREMT actually tests

Build List — Ordered Response

Place the cardiac arrest interventions in the correct sequence:

1Begin chest compressions
2Apply AED / defibrillator
3Establish IV/IO access
4Administer epinephrine 1mg IV

Multiple Response — Select All That Apply

Which findings indicate decompensated shock? (Select 3)

Altered mental status
Hypotension
Bounding pulses
Delayed capillary refill
Warm, dry skin
Bradycardia

How it works

Create. Deliver. Analyze.

01

Create

Build assessments with real TEI formats. Start from a blank template, refine a generated draft, or build a full exam from a topic you describe.

02

Deliver

Students take exams with the same interactive question types they will face on the NREMT.

03

Analyze

Drill into performance by student, cohort, domain, or TEI type. Spot at-risk students early.

See it for yourself

Build a real NREMT-style question right now — then take it.

No account, no demo call. Open the live sandbox, build a drag-and-drop or matrix item, flip to the student view, and grade it on the spot.

Every format

Built for every NREMT item type

The same flow works for every TEI format. Here's a drag-and-drop item coming together — the same few steps as the rest.

Platform

Write the exam, give it, and see who needs help

Six things that work together here that you can't get in one place anywhere else in EMS education.

TEI Question Engine

All six NREMT TEI formats beyond multiple choice -- multiple response, drag-and-drop, build list, options box, hot spot, and clinical judgment -- in the same interactive formats students meet on exam day.

Test Builder

Build assessments from scratch, generate a full draft to refine, or mix both. You review and approve every question before it reaches a student.

Cohort Analytics

Domain-level heatmaps, TEI-type breakdowns, score trends, and error pattern detection across your entire program.

ECG Strip Library

185 real ECGs from PhysioNet -- 98 twelve-lead and 87 rhythm strips across 40 rhythm types. Attach directly to any question.

Program-Review Analytics

Domain-level cohort performance mapped to the NREMT blueprint -- the outcome evidence your program review and CoAEMSP self-study need, already in one place.

Targeted Remediation

See exactly where your class is struggling -- by NREMT domain, question type, and clinical-judgment step -- so you can focus teaching time where it moves the needle instead of on generic review.

Built for program review

The numbers your annual report already asks for

Foresight organizes its analytics around the same outcome measures CoAEMSP programs report — so when self-study season comes around, the cohort numbers are already in the shape your annual report needs, not a scramble of spreadsheets.
